Boom And Arm

The straight boom and dipper-style (droop nose) arm are optimized for productivity in scrap, and steel hydraulic lines are used wherever possible to increase longevity.

Joystick Steering

The configurable joysticks steer the machine, improving usability and productivity.

Magnet Power Supply

A 20 kW generator comes standard on every BMH40A with an electrical supply line to the end of the stick. The quick-connect magnet electrical plug is protected to prevent damage.

Rear And Boom-Side Cameras

Standard rear and boom-side cameras reduce operator blind spots, and dedicated view screens eliminate the need to toggle between camera views.

Oscillating Steering Axle

The lockable oscillating front axle provides better ground contouring when driving with the upper house in line with the undercarriage.

Operator Comfort

Easy-access, ergonomic machine controls are customizable, promoting less hand movement for the operator. Leather heated/cooled adjustable air ride seat keeps operators comfortable.

Cab Riser

Operator eye level is at 19' when the cab is fully raised, up to 12" higher than other competitors, providing improved sightlines into rail cars or trailers.

Speed Drivetrain

The wheeled undercarriage allows for fast movement from pile to pile, and the 2-speed hydraulically driven transmission features 4-wheel drive, and max speed of 18km/hr or 11 mph.
