The straight boom and dipper-style (droop nose) arm are optimized for productivity in mill yards with rubber hoses for easy replaceability.
Rotary encoders are used as robust limit switches to constantly monitor where the attachment is relative to the cab. When the attachment enters the cab contact zone, the hydraulic speed is reduced to avoid accidental contact but still be able to work near the machine without requiring an override switch.
The configurable joysticks steer the machine, making operation simpler while also increasing visibility.
Standard cameras on three sides reduce operator blind spots, and a dedicated view screen gives you the option to see all views at once or toggle between them individually.
The oscillating front axle provides better ground contouring when driving while aligned and auto-locks when upper is swung to either side.
Easy-access, ergonomic machine controls are customizable, promoting less hand movement for the operator. Leather heated/cooled adjustable air ride seat keeps operators comfortable.
When the cab is fully raised, operator eye level is higher than competitors, providing improved sightlines while high decking or loading a raised infeed conveyor.
The wheeled undercarriage allows for fast movement from pile to pile with a 2-speed hydraulically driven transmission that powers all four wheels with limited slip differential. The drivetrain delivers maximum towing capacity, enabling operators to tow up to 100,000 lbs of loaded trailer.
An optional auto grease system keeps upper house maintenance points in the boom, arm, cab riser, and swing bearing lubricated.
Standard polycarbonate front window and skylight are protected by Falling Object Guarding (FOG) to keep operators safe from large debris. Optional projectile-resistant glazing is available for all side windows. For ultimate operator protection, a forestry-rated cab is available.
Pneumatic tires increase traction and suspension for the typical rough terrain found in mill yards.
Optional high-traction, elevated work platforms with integrated tie-off points can be bolted to the rear half of the machine for easiest access inside door panels for service and maintenance.
Short, blank hitch comes standard for customers to add their style of hitch system. Optional long, blank hitch is also available with 100k pintle hitch included.
Optional factory-installed diesel-fired engine heater or engine and hydraulic tank heater will ensure your machine starts on cold days and gets up to working temperature faster.
Optional factory-installed fire suppression activates when flame is detected in engine bay. It can also be activated at ground level or from in the cab.
