Features

Your yard might not be smooth, but your ride should be.

No matter where materials need to be handled, the RTF is the strongest and safest machine to do the job. With a certified-safe rough terrain forklift you can move loads in tough conditions with ease and confidence. Brandt submitted the RTF for rigorous testing for general stability, traction, and lift capacity to produce an inspiring machine. Its load-lifting performance over rough terrain includes:

  • Second-to-none stacking and travelling operations, proven through longitudinal and lateral direction testing (Tilting Platform Tests)
  • Solid steel mast construction, no hollow structural sections- allows for years of heavy use, without any worry of premature failure
  • Wheel loader articulation offers superior maneuverability in tight situations or jobs requiring precision
  • All-wheel drive and outstanding ground clearance for improved drivability and job performance for even the most challenging yard-types

Outfit Your Crew with Confidence.

Safe machines enable confident operators, which boosts job performance. Give your crew the reassurance that only certified-safe machines can provide.

Stability tests, braking tests, cab protection, fork tests and more - the Brandt Rough Terrain Forklift passed every test we could throw at it, making the RTF Series fully certified to ANSI B56.6 standards. Test criteria included:

  • General Stability Criteria through Tilting
  • Platform Tests
  • Service Brake System Performance Parking Brake System Performance Emergency Stopping System
  • Fork Certification
  • Load Handling Controls
  • Travel Controls Steering Controls ROPS Structure
  • Falling Object Overhead Guards

Loaded with Confidence.

Operators can lift with confidence with the high resolution onboard load monitor, viewable in a wide range of lighting conditions. This ensures operators know exactly how much they are lifting with a digital and visual graphic programmed to match the RTF's certified rated capacity.

The RTF's in-cab monitoring system provides enhanced onboard diagnostics including speed, pressure, temperature readings, and switch status options. Should a malfunction occur, the easy-to-navigate monitor displays diagnostic messages and offers possible solutions to help get you back up and running quickly.

MASTerpiece.

The RTF's forklift mast is constructed from solid steel, providing superior strength and increasing its load-bearing capabilities. It is simply less prone to twisting or warping under heavy loads.

When you utilize top-quality components, you ensure longer life for wearable parts and increased productivity. That's why we use hardened steel bushings instead of standard steel bushings at pivot points, and sealed roller and chain bearings with an impenetrable design that keeps debris and contaminants outside moving parts.

A Step in the Bright Direction.

You don't always quit when the sun sets, so the RTF is available with an optional LED Light Kit. These additional high-powered 40 degree wide beam LED lights mount on the carriage to ensure optimal lighting where you need it most.

Get Comfy and Get to Work.

The RTF features a spacious and quiet cab with fatigue-beating ergonomics and plenty of limb stretching legroom. The ergonomic controls and sea led switch module are close at hand from the adjustable premium high/wide-back heated seat.

A color LCD monitor gives you pushbutton access to machine data and functions at your fingertips. Effective airflow keeps the glass clear and the pressurized cab comfortable while the large, tinted glass windows ensure a commanding 360-degrees of visibility.

Linked ln.

The RTF comes standard with JDLink Ultimate, including 24/7 computer access to your RTF's location, utilization, monitor alerts, fuel-consumption diagnostics, and hours, plus geofencing, curfew, and numerous other capabilities. Anywhere you have an internet connection, simply log on at www.jdlink.com.

Power You Trust.

The RTF is powered by a fluid-efficient John Deere PowerTech diesel, which provides generous displacement, power, torque and lugging ability. It is also equipped with Deere's innovative Quad-Cool system, along with features like Auto-Idle and Auto-Shutdown to help conserve fuel.

Maintenance Made Simple.

Same-side ground-level service points make quick work of the daily routine. The unique Quad-Cool system provides wide-open access to both sides of the coolers for easy cleanout. Conveniently located sight gauges and see-through reservoirs let you check fluids at a glance.

Ground level features include:

  • Fuel and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) fill access, which helps speed servicing for more uptime (fast-fuel option also available)
  • Access to remote start battery terminals and electrical disconnect switch behind a lockable compartment

Colour-coded fluid-sample and diagnostic test ports help speed preventative maintenance and trouble shooting.Vertical spin-on filters allow quick, no-spill changes. Extended 500-, 2000-, and 4000- hour engine, transmission, and hydraulic oil-service intervals help reduce operating costs.

Fully Loaded.

Simply making a machine that operates better on rough terrain doesn't make it a better choice. Making it powerful and efficient while raising the bar for reliability and operator comfort with the highest possible safety rating does. The Brandt RTF series is equipped to succeed where lesser forklifts cannot.
