Features

Compaction Technology
  • Vögele delivers advanced compaction technology to ensure you get the most out of your machine and top-results at the jobsite. Tamper (T) and vibrator (V) compacting systems ensure outstanding compaction quality:
    • The vibrating compacting system (V) is used for optimum grain size and distribution in the pavement. An eccentric vibrator makes the screed plate and frame vibrate to achieve an extremely smooth surface texture. This feature can be controlled from the ErgoPlus screed console.
    • The tamper compacting system (T) is used to ensure precise compaction with an adjustable stroke, allowing operators to work productively with complete control. A correctly set tamper is extremely important for the compaction result and for the floating behaviour of the screeds.
High-Compaction Technology
  • Compaction performances of up to 98% can be achieved with Vögele’s unique high-compaction technology, without rolling. This is achieved by combining screed versions TP1, TP2, and TP2 Plus with pressure bars (P) driven by pulsed-flow hydraulics, to deliver top-quality results.
    • A pulse generator sends high-frequency pressure pulses to keep the pressure bars in permanent contact with the pavement, forcing down the mix until it cannot be compacted any more. The pressure bars are located in the rear of the Vögele compaction screed, enabling pavers to achieve the highest possible compaction performance while preventing the mix from escaping at the front or the sides.
  • Operators can easily switch from high compaction to conventional compaction from the ErgoPlus3 console, allowing it to be used for a variety of applications.
Telescoping System
  • The single-tube telescoping system prevents any contact with paving mix by clamping half of the three-point telescoping tube, even at maximum extension. This allows for a stable, seamless workflow and minimizes downtime.
  • The three-point support system, combined with low-wear sliding bearings inside the telescoping tube, ensures gentle and smooth adjustment of the paving width.
Heating System
  • The intelligent generator management system ensures continuous optimum temperatures across the full paving width. This allows operators to work efficiently while reducing energy required and fuel consumption.
  • The electric heat pattern delivers quick, consistent, and even heating-up time, ensuring top-quality results and maximum machine availability.
Screed Production Technology
  • Vögele screeds are built from robotically welded, laser-cut steel for a consistently high fitment standard and welds that will stand the test of time.
  • Wear components are made with Hardox steel, making them the perfect solution for harsh operating conditions.
  • Vögele experts submit every unit to a rigorous comprehensive quality control check to confirm all functions, settings, filling levels and pressure components.
