The Brandt Slag Bucket is a specialized bucket to handle molten slag in various slag processors and steel mills. The temperature of this material can reach upwards of 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit, so custom heat resistant steel is used in majority of the bucket to absorb heat and eliminate any distortion in this unforgiving environment.

Features

Side cutters are made of custom heat resistant, abrasive resistant steel to provide superior wear reduction, maintain excellent bucket penetration all while working at extreme temperatures.
Shell Liner and multiple internal ribs of heat and wear resistant steel make up the inside of the slag bucket and take the brunt of the abuse when transporting the molten slag.
Reinforced heat resistant cheek plates to improve bucket strength provide heat and wear resistance at a very key area in the bucket.
Multiple vertical heat resistant wear bars are incorporated into the underside of the bucket for unsurpassed bucket protection and wear resistance.
Extended spill guard to minimize debris from spilling over bucket and protect linkage and front of loader.
Bottom doubler plates are used to smoothly transfer forces from the base edge to the lugging in order to prevent excess wear on the bucket and machine.
Inside corner gussets add reinforcement and increase bucket strength.
Thick one piece high strength, abrasive resistant and heat resistant weld on cutting edge to prevent excess wear to the base edge and improve bucket life cycle.
