Brandt's New Tension Hydrotester Improves Performance and Reliability

Brandt Engineered Products Ltd. introduces significant improvements to the Tension Hydrotester to increase performance, reliability, ease of maintenance and operator comfort for Tube and Pipe Manufacturers.
The Tension Hydrotester tests small diameter pipe effectively by eliminating detrimental column forces that may result in bent pipe.
Productivity is increased by doubling the hydraulic flow to the pressure intensification system. Higher flow vertical turbine pumps providing up to 1200 GPM, and a 180% larger air purge valve results in less back pressure and reduced filling time.
Reliability is improved with the use of steel hard lines for hydraulic and high pressure water systems, and more robust support cart hydraulic valves that are remotely set from the operator's booth.
