Brandt donates $100,000 to Alberta flood relief

August 21, 2013

The Halo High Water Benefit Concert and Telethon took place on August 4, 2013 at the Southern Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary. This event saw some of the biggest names in music come together to raise money for The Calgary Foundation's Flood Rebuilding Fund. Brandt is honoured to have been part of this effort by donating $100,000 toward flood relief efforts.

“We care about the things that matter to customers and our employees, and we are honoured to be part of the effort to restore these communities,” said Shaun Semple. “It's one way we can express our gratitude to the people and the communities who drive our success as a company, everyday.”

In late June Southern Alberta was devastated by unprecedented flooding affecting the lives of thousands of people in rural communities like High River, urban neighbourhoods in Calgary, and the southern Alberta First Nations. In a truly Albertan and Canadian manner, the very best of the human spirit has risen and come together to show support and rebuild stronger than ever.
