December 9th, 2015 marked a milestone for John Deere's DHSP plant in Langley, BC; their 4000th production unit rolled off the assembly line and was presented to its proud new owner. The machine, a 2016 John Deere 2016 2154D swing machine equipped with a Waratah HTH622B processing head is part of a multi-unit purchase by Prince George BC loggers, Hartwood Holdings from Brandt Tractor Ltd.'s Prince George branch.

The new machine was presented, along with a gold key and commemorative plaque, to Hartwood president Shane Garner at a ceremony at the DHSP factory on December 9, 2015. Representatives from Deere, Hartwood and Brandt were on hand for the presentation ceremony and plant tour.

“We're thrilled to see this landmark machine go to a great, longtime customer of ours,” adds Brandt Director of Sales - Forestry, Rod Bowes. “Milestones like this point to continued success for British Columbia logging contractors, the forestry industry and the provincial economy and we're very proud to be a part of it.”
