The Brandt Seam Rotator prepares the pipe for non-destructive testing by aligning the pipe to ensure the weld is at the 12 o clock position. Depending on the type of inspection necessary, the pipe can be turned to whatever location the operator chooses. The pipe is pulled through the station by driven rolls. An operator's station allows for easy rotation of the pipe, and adjusting of the height of the mainframe for a wide variety of pipe sizes.

Features
The speed of the rolls are set to match the entry and exit conveyors, and the rotating body is controlled at the operators station. An electric jack at the operators station also allows the height of the mainframe to change allowing for a wide variety of pipe sizes.
Functionality
- The Seam Rotator features slip rings, conductor arms, and a ring assembly to transfer power from the solid frame to the rings, allowing the center portion of the frame to rotate in either direction without getting tangled. The speed of the rolls is set to match the entry and exit conveyors, but can also be manually over-rode for fine positioning within the station.
