Reduced Compaction

Compaction harms the long-term productivity of your soil. Brandt’s track design has been optimized to keep the pressure of even the largest carts under 15 psi.

Highest Flotation

Brandt’s unique high-flotation track configuration minimizes field damage, and increases stability - even in the wettest conditions - for maximum efficiency.

Peace of Mind

You’ll never have another flat tire! Brandt delivers easy maintenance, lower operating costs and the assurance that your cart will always be ready when you need it.

Proprietary open-center track design

  • Unique open-center tread-pattern design aligns the track contact surface underneath the idler and bogey wheels to prevent uneven tread wear and increase the lifespan of the carcass.
  • Widest tread bar in the industry (3.7”) delivers the highest-possible contact surface, reducing compaction, minimizing soil disturbance and evenly distributing the load for road transport.

Optimized Tread Bar Configuration

  • Tread bar is optimized with a chamfered 56° angle along the outside edge to reduce soil berming when turning the cart in the field.
  • Individual tread bars are angled at 22.5°, reducing vibration and resulting in a smoother ride, more even tread wear, and increased track longevity.

Heavy-Duty Construction

  • Pivoting pins and spindles utilize induction-hardened chrome plating - the same spec commonly used on heavy-duty construction equipment.
  • Idler and bogie wheels feature oil-bath hubs to eliminate daily greasing, and include large sight glasses to make maintenance inspections quick and easy.

Features

Why Does Brandt Use a Longer, Narrower Track?

Brandt offers multiple track lengths to suit the grain cart size and the field conditions of your farm. From 130 to 170 inches long and 36 inches wide, Brandt tracks offer fully loaded ground pressures as low as 10.3 psi.

  • A 36-inch track-width creates less rolling resistance than competitors’ wider systems. This reduces soil disruption and improves tractor fuel efficiency.
  • Longer tracks move over uneven field terrain more smoothly and with less shock than shorter tracks. This results in a better ride and reduced shock loading on both the cart and tractor.
  • Brandt and CAMSO have collaborated to deliver a rubber carcass that minimizes berming and delivers superior in-field turning performance compared with wider track systems.
  • Unique wide and angled tread bar wedge and v-shaped guide lugs create minimal field disturbance when turning.
  • Brandt undercarriage design spreads the load evenly without requiring complex side-to-side articulation mechanics - a more reliable, durable system with less service parts and less potential for failure.
